CARBON DIOXIDE AND OZONE DRY BATH CHAMBER

The only device which allows to perform both dry baths in carbon dioxide and ozone baths.

The device allows for whole-body exposure (excluding the head), which, unlike limb-only exposure, stimulates both local and systemic blood flow. This translates to better therapeutic effects.

The device works automatically, comes with an inbuilt chromotherapy and music therapy systems, as well as a treatment counter. The dry-bath carbonic acid and ozone chamber is controled by a microprocessor control system equiped with a 15″ touchscreen. It allows for individual settings of particular parameters, like the dosage of CO2, concentration of ozone, treatment duration and temperature.

The device comes in both stationary and mobile variations.

Carbon dioxide baths:

The device is intended for carrying out carbonic acid anhydride treatments for people, who due to the coexisting diseases cannot take the so-called “wet” carbonic acid baths where hydrostatic pressure additionally burdens the patient. Taking “dry” CO₂ baths does not require the patient to get undressed. Due to the easy way of entering treatment space, this treatment can replace “wet” baths for people with motor organs dysfunctions.

Therapeutic effects of carbon dioxide involve the process of widening capillaries, arteries and veins caused by the creation of acetylcholine and histamine-like bodies in the skin.

The CO₂ effects include lowering blood pressure, both normal and elevated by illness. The described process occurs without participation of an additional termal factor. Carbon dioxide lowers the vulnerability of cold receptors and at the same time irritates wormth receptors. In addition to that, capillars open by around 300% more than before treatment. Due to the use of carbon dioxide overall skin hyperemia raises by around 600%. Carbon dioxide gas treatments, the so-called dry treatment, are recommended in cases of coexisting cardiological or cerebrovascular diseases of the brain that exclude treatments using carbonic acid wet baths

Ozone baths

Ozone is a triatomic molecule of oxygen with specific weight of 48. It is a very strong oxidizing agent with a potential of 2,07V. It oxidizes all metals and non-metals in room temperature. The oxygen bond in the ozone molecule is unstable.

Ozone used in medical processes is not pure gas, but it is mostly an ozone-oxygen or ozone-air mixture. In medicine, people have been using ozone for more than a hundred years as a sterilizing and dezinfecting agent and for improving cell metabolism by an increased supply of oxygen to tissues. Strong bactericidal and virucidal properties of ozone, mostly in reference to anaerobes, result from its very high oxidation/reduction potential that destroys most enzymatic structures of microgranisms.

Ozone mixed with oxygen improves peripheral circulation in lower limbs, causes better oxidation of ischemic tissues, has an antiatherogenic and anticoagulation effect, and disinfects wounds and ulcerations. In higher concentrations it destroys bacteriae and viruses, and in lower concentrations it stimulates healing of wounds, burns, ulcerations, bedsores. In additiona to that it has immunostimulatory properties.

Ozone can be used externally in the form of an ozone-oxygen or ozone-air mixture in polytunnels, outdoor chambers, in the form of solutions or ointments containing ozonides.
